Data Analysis
Data Analysis
What Is It?
Data Analysis is a service we provide that helps breakdown a business’ energy consumption and cost of operations. It takes the data from a half-hourly energy meter and converts it into a report with graphs and charts, this helps show any potential energy wastage and find ways to improve the energy efficiency of a business.
Who Needs It?
Businesses that use excessive amounts of energy or who are looking to reduce their energy costs can benefit from Data Analysis, as long as they have a set of half hourly data. They can reduce their energy bills while also improving the overall energy efficiency of the business.
Here is an example of some of the charts that can be found in our Data Analysis reports. These charts display the energy consumption for a business for:

-
The day and night;
-
The week and weekend;
-
The useful and wasted energy used.
The various graphs within a report display the data in a clear and visual way, rather than a large spreadsheet of numbers (as received from the supplier).
Why Is It Needed?
Data Analysis highlights the essentials for everything energy related. It provides valuable information and shows how much energy is being consumed over periods of time, and how much of that energy is being wasted. With this information, you can find out when most of your energy is being used and where it may be being wasted. By providing this report, we can help identify any outstanding trends and help resolve them, so you can save on energy costs and make the building more energy efficient.

How We Can Help
Here at Sprite Energy Assessors, we specialise in Data Analysis and finding solutions to any of your energy needs and requirements. A Data Analysis report can be carried out by one of our qualified data analysts, all we need is a sample of your half-hourly data from an energy meter. You can get this data yourself from your current energy supplier, or alternatively we can speak with your supplier and get the data for you on your behalf. This data can then be converted into the visual report.
